Ceralink inks first fed contract: $250k for energy R&D
November 03, 2006
Ceralink Inc. has landed a $250,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Energy, the company's first federal contract. Holly Shulman, president of Ceralink, call it the biggest deal in the six-person company's six-year history.
"We had a lot of competition, " said Shulman, noting Ceralink was one of 10 companies out of 219 that applied to win grants under the DOE's Inventions and Innovation prgram on promising energy-saving concepts.
